Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's a bus from Girona airport to the main bus station. Buy the ticket at the terminal after arrival.

At any metro station, get a T10 metro ticket, will get you everywhere easily.
Parc Guell, Picasso museum, Born area, Barceloneta beach, ... actually just walking around is bliss. Definitely see the zoo at Citadell Park, I love it.

Do not carry anything important, pickpockets are everywhere and very good at separating tourists from their handbags and cameras.

Biko, thanx a million for the advice!

had heard about the pickpockets alright. But great to get a heads up on it. Do you know are there any markets or anything like that?

About halfway up Ramblas on your left there is a nice market, kinda hidden away inside a building.

Down by the harbour there are Africans selling fake leather handbags on the street, herself picked one up for 15E.

Oh and if you like vegetarian food, try Maoz Falafel.

You should definately try to take in a match at the Nou Camp if Barcelona are playing on the weekend in question. An incredible stadium and one of the best/exciting teams playing in world football today.

I love the 'statues' on Ramblas!
