    Your poor head!

She has a better understanding of our current problems than most other politicians. But, like all of our politicians (and most, perhaps all, of the rest of us) she doesn't know the solution.

She is unfortunate in having a voice that is not easy to listen to.

The solutions are well known, selling them is the probllem.

It does look likely that the government will fold, or will be forced into an election as people won't go along with their 'plans'. When Gilmore called for one a number of weeks ago people said that we didn't have time for an election, but the truth is that we are going nowhere due to the lack of trust in the current government.

The problem with this is that it will be once against a two party government made up a combination of FG, Labour and FF. Now the most likely combo is FG/Labour, but these are also the parties that are probably the least alike. The party manifest that people will vote for will be NOTHING like the program for government. So personally I think that FF/Labour and FG/Labour and maybe even FF/FG(!!!) should sit down and see can they do business and if they can they should draw up a program for government. This is what people should vote for.
That will then be a GOVERNMENT, not a party, that we voted in and they will decide where we go. Cuts/taxs etc- we take it on the chin.

    As distinct from quite awful.

Hers is a silence to which we should listen.
