Well it has been for sale for several months now (atleast 8). If lowering the price hasn't worked, maybe raising will help :D

FTO values are coming back up.

How long before it's eligible for classic car insurance discount ?

3 years and an fbd (and many others im sure) policy would add it as a classic, 2nd to a main car insured. Makes you want to buy a 94 and dd it to a policy in 2014.

    I win!

It's actually an annoy advert to read, as if the fact that he types out a big advert warrants the €3,750 price tag  €750 would be too much!

wow thats unbelievable. if i were a wealthy toyota enthusiast with a garage thats too big i'd probably offer a grand for it. at 3750 though it's very much sale proof.

reminds me very much of that ep80 starlet van that was up for circa 2k recently, and the ep70 shape starlet for 5 or 6k was it not?

people just think they can find an old ish toyota and charge to the hilt for it. realistically that daihatsu wont be worth 3750 unless he lets it appreciate for another 30 years, even then though it will have limited sales appeal.

Limerick Man beat you to that one a few posts up.
When he posted it, yerman wanted 3750 for it. I'll be following that ad and watch that price plummet.
I'm just amazed that the ad is quite polite, mostly the deluded braindead brigade throw in lots of bluster like "No dreamers, test pilots, tire kickers and window lickers, that means YOU!", as if shouting at people before you even met them will somehow increase their chances of selling their overpriced heap of crap.
Maybe this guy lives abroad and the price is in Mexican Pesetas?

I'd say it's worth around 1700 to be fair

What happened there was that Marius down the NCT centre just commented it's in good nick for the age, and the owner now thinks their 20 year old 1 litre Charade has the same kerb appeal as an E-Type or something.

I'm tempted to ring anyway, just to find out what "break pads" are.

€500 to €600 tops, because it's in good shape. If it was a GTti now on the other hand...

where did i say it was?

toyota have more than a little to do with daihatsu and i was merely comparing it to a few similarly overpriced starlets of that vintage that have been cropping up lately.

The only cool thing about that colour is when it's on an M3, on anything else it's just horrible, like that. Worth about 6k ish.

Same-ish colour as the meganes came in too isn't it?

    Horrible colour, there's a good reason it's individual :p

Couldn't tell ya, my aunt had a black one years ago!

LM - don't know what you're on about, that 3 series is visually exactly almost the same as an M3!
