Though I do reckon, unless your man is mad that he could be talked to taking that away for less then 100.

But would it not have a value of at least €130, possibly more to get rid of it to a metal recycling firm I would have thought

I suppose it would, but it's been sitting in a yard for years. Turn up with a flatbed trailer and start flashing the 20s and you could drive away with it for very cheap.

Another one here, €2600 for a 13 year old Fabia, lunacy!

    Still a gorgeous car though!

Looking into getting my first car and I kinda like that Skoda Fabia posted (obviously not that one at that price).

I'd say overpriced but not that much. Late E46's are very sought after hence why they hold their value

We sold a 323 00 1.8gt same spec with about 80k km on it in 2008 for 2200 euro. That shows you how fair out this guy is and is a year older. He must be taking the piss.

:D hahaha its back!!!! I have seen this car advertised for a number of years and I have actually gone to see it at that dealers. About 3 years ago he was looking for about 7K for it.:pac:

Ah bless him, this fella still thinks its 2006. I'd say he'd rather see it rust to pieces than sell it for a realistice price. About 1500 euros at best.

At that price he will have it until it qualifies for classic motor tax. :D

That car is for sale since at least 2009. From the ad it seems he thinks he has something special on his hands ''rare Model'':pac:

Yup, I drove that about 7 years ago at this stage. Airbag light on but a nice drive otherwise. Would have bought it there and then but there was no budging yer man on price.
You and I have had a few laughs out of it since!

Told me he took it as a trade-in / swap against a 1.8 or 2.0 petrol Primera with light beige seats and white carpets - zero market for these in rural North Cork apparently.

Even this fella, selling the newer model 2.0 323 GT, is having a laugh (IMO) at 1900.

The funny thing is langdang, they're a strangely alluring car. I always liked that generation of 323. The 1.3 is predictably gutless, the 1.5 is very average but the 1.8 suits this car nicely.

But in 2013 its very old hat now. Always gives me a chuckle when i see this car advertised for yer mans daft prices.

A dreamer of the year legend he is.:pac:

I wouldn't mind a white one myself. I wouldn't pay 6950 for one though no matter how much persuading id get :D

For sheer long term head-in-the-sand determination this guy definitely deserves some kinda award!
The sleeper style of the 1.8 appealed, and the insurance wasn't too bad for me at the time. The mahoosive foglights on the 2.0 models ruin the sleeper potential for me.
