13 years old Scenic for 1750???
Bought mine (same year) 2 years ago for 1400, and it wasn't cheap back then. Not a dreamer of the year, but still...

We really honestly have a winner here. 11,000 euros for a 91 Camry and it sounds like he's serious. What the hell.

While it is overpriced it's not as crazy as it would first seem, it's far from your standard Subaru. It is basically the car Subaru submitted to the FIA for homologation to enter the PWRC (production world rally championship). It's a Group N car minus the roll cage and extinguishers. I think the Spec C V is even a limited edition of the C. You are probably talking closer to the €40k mark though. I believe they cost about £30k to bring into the UK.

Oh I know what it is, he'd have been doing well to get €50k for it back before the new tax system came in.
Even in a better environment he'd be lucky to get €35k for it these days.

Over here I'd be surprised if he got €25k.

You'll only get what someone will pay alright but in theory it should be worth the €40k ish. He would probably be much better off selling it in the UK though.

    not this again....

That car is worth 50k eu, but not in ireland. Its not the first time it is showed in this thread. People do your homework, before posting stuff here.

Its an STI spec C Jap import. to make it simple: its a pure road legal rally car out of the box. Its a great car, if you got money for it. It is in a good condition and yes, the seat covers are manky, but they are there to keep the orignal seats clean.

50k is a lot in broken down ressesion Ireland. Maybe 50k is on high side, but it does not mean he is far off the price.

Ah here, I said I know what it is, it's AMA amazing car but I don't see it getting €50k for it anywhere.
Likewise, there was a 22b going a while back for close to €10k, as great as these cars are they suffer in this economy.

What it's worth in sentiment and monitory are completely separate.
In saying that, if I had the money and there was some competition to buy it I could see myself getting ahead of myself, still not €50k though.

Just because Ireland is financially broken does not mean car is just overpriced. As mentioned above, selles has better chances selling it in UK, in Ireland we only want diesels these days.

A lot of fast metal left Ireland in the last few years. It got cheap here and people got used to cheap fast/luxury cars. No one expected al this stuff being exported.

Trust me, soon such stuff like that scooby or just simple s14 will be as rare as dirt on MMs car.
