*this could actually be one of a number of engines, maybe even a T5, but they're not gonna give away that sort of info in an ad, no sirree

Will never figure out how they sell cars! I will never forget a time when my parents went to trade in a 3 year old mondeo and it was rubbished by the salesman. It had under 50k up, but apparently the suspension amoung other things was knackered.

My father, upon enquiring why the passat he was looking at felt so "unsteady" compared to the Mondey, he was told the suspension in the passat had not "bedded in".

I bought that mondeo ultimately and I think the suspension eventually needed work at about 90/100k.

For that money I was expecting a fresh test - not an NCT expiring in a little over a month!

Edit - title says fresh test, but they put a photo of the disc expiring in 2013??

    Christ, this really annoys me.
This guy seems to think it's 2006 where you could call a car vintage, stick a zero on the price and sit back rubbing your hands, waiting for the dosh to roll in as some unsuspecting fool would be only too willing to get gutted like a kipper.

I like them, in an "Alfa Romeo" kind of way, they are an acquired taste, but that one, €1000, €1200 tops.

I am not an expert in 4x4, but an expert would say more. This looks like a heavily modified and good example of heavy duty 4x4.

I know it is a bit too expensive and tax a bit too big to drop off kids in school, but maybe someone uses 4x4 for something else too, i know it sounds mad, but still...

Maybe I am out of touch, but €24,500 for a 4yr old A4 SLine ??

well the work done to it certainly makes it worthwhile, its a fully ready offroad machine, winch, air lockers , lift, cage and tyres , but its still only worth a bit under half that money max if its in perfect condition

nice celica in decent shape, 06 must be one of the last ever sold, but half that price would be closer to the mark i think.

at least we know that the front doors can open at the same time

    always a worry that:rolleyes:

Also, that celica is not the 190hp edition.

    Bog Standard 140.

I've give 2k no more tbh.

Jeese 2k for an 06 celica sounds low. They are a decent looking car and were reliable and fun to boot.

Perhaps, but you wound't get it for 2k!

9.5k is insane though to be fair, i'd agree 4k/5k would be on the money.

I sold mine 2 years ago.

02 190 Premium pack edition for 3400k. Really great car alot of fun.

4 years newer doesn't mean much as these engines go for 200km+ easily if looked after. As celicas go, this is buried deep in bogness.

Closer inspection, it might be a 'T-Sport' as 190 edition was discontinued in 03 BUT the speedo only goes to 180km(think 260-280km in 190 usually) which means it's a jap import.

Only for a Saab nutter (i'd love one) A sorted Aero Cabrio with the necessary chassis upgrades is some car. They make not far off that money in Sterling.
