I'd always be wary of kitted mr2s, they're often hiding a multitude of sins.
This one was last tested in 2009.

My friend is mechanic and he worked on some turbo mr2s and he dis said that they just can't handle it. You way better off with normal or beams engine. And that says a lot, as we know how beams engines can't hold on to those horses with age at all.
I would love mr2, turbo, but that particular one you would need to buy for a grand and then spend a lot to make it look normal.

A show winning MR2 with Triangles on it and not tested since 2009....? Whatever about the looks, something tells me it wouldn't be winning any shows these days....

It's a Japanese import. Look at the licence plate areas on the bumpers.

It's GT too (1.4 TSI, 120-168hp), did any of the "Irish" ones have that engine or did they just come with 74-89hp 1.4's?

You could get that engine in the GT soec from 2008 onwards. 1.4tsi 122, 140, 170 bhp they are rare enough the 2008 ones anyway.

Here is an addition for a dreamer imo....

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2001-nissan-almera-1500cc/9514755

Quite pricey for a 14 year old.

But he replaced the tyres 17k miles ago :pac: why would you even put that in an ad that probably means there is about 2mm left on them.

Overpriced by a bit yeah, but hardly worth a spot in this thread. Seems well looked after if anything

Thought it met criteria with the well overpriced price tag on it?

Also just noticed he has timing belt changed at 86k m

I am worried as it doesn't have a timing belt.....

Also love the way almera guy washed the car and then takes 2 terrible photos of the outside which show nothing and 2 same photos inside.

Lunch on seat yes I would say he will throw in the left over wrappers if you ask nicely.

It only needs an engine, a timing belt, some rear suspension, a heated seat and a few other assorted bits but other than that its perfect :-)

Yours (after a big price drop) for 2400 quid. Ditch the 2 and we're closer to where we need to be.

I wouldn't take that 166 for free to be honest. Seems like a headache waiting for someone.

Its not so bad, the new engine will come with a timing belt, so you're saving right there!
Bargain for a car with knackered engine and suspension.

Cause an S Class comes with a dashboard from a Sonata, Switchgear from a Getz and the indicator stalk on the wrong sid e.

Many a good Wavin pipe died to trim that car interior out
