Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Kate,

I asked the same question (to myself) of my old Tamron lens that I used to use on my Olympus OM10. I purchased an adaptall mount for the my D80 and got some interesting results.

First thing to note is that all metering on these 'prosumer' cameras is that all metering is done through the lens, ie the camera cannot deceide what exposure is required if your lens is manual (you haven't said). The advantage of digital is that you have the screen at the back of the camera to see if your exposure is correct or not - so you either adjust the apature or the shutter speed to adjust depending on the result you want.

The only disapointment I found was the manual focus was tempermental - not the camera's fault - just mine because I wear glasses - you get so used to auto focus. However if you persist you can get some nice results. I got a pain in the arse !!
