Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi everyone,

I have the Nikon SB-800, is it worth upgrading to the SB-900

I know its bigger and newer, but is it better:confused:

    Thanks in advance!

To be honest, anyone looking at this end of the Nikon flash range should be able to answer this question for themselves.

If you can't answer it, then you don't need it.

    I own both 800 and 900.

I'd say although the 900 is a step forward in many ways , it's not worth upgrading unless you have a reason to purchase it.

Fact is, the used price of the 800s has gone up considerably since many people are more happy with it's size, functions and power over the additional cost of the 900s.
