Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I havn't used these before. The problem with some of the cheap chinese stuff is it can be a bit hit n' miss. Though for $39 it might be worth a try. I'll probably buy one myself. ;)

Not sure about those ebay ones but I have the Gadget Infinity ones, great gizmos for the price.

Another +1. For the price these are great. They can be a bit finicky but once you play around with them for a while you'll get to know the limitations.

Here are two tips that I have learned the hard way. Firstly (I'm using a 580EX II flash here) when you lock the flash to the trigger it somehow breaks the connection and the flash does not fire. And similarly, when the flash is attached to the receiver (and the reciever is on a light stand) if the angle of the receiver to the light stand moves too far from straight up then the weight of the flash causes the connection to break also. Just something to look out for. :)

By the way you can't use te 2nd curtain setting with these triggers, and the TTL function doesn't work either. Still handy for some things though? What kind of stuff you plan on using ot for?

    Hi all
Has anyone seen these or used these flash triggers before, I really need to get some but not sure which ones to buy, all help would be appreciated. I saw this link on DP-review and they (Photographers) seem to be very happy with them

did you see that the individual parts on the same seller will cost you less than that combo? (11.99+11.99+9.99=33.97) :)
edit: I think I may have been looking at different receivers, check for yourself

Hi Fireman, I would be concerned that they only appear to be optical (Not radio) triggers which means they will only work in line of sight. (One of the illustrations shows the "Light Sensor")

Which is why xshayx recommends the Cactus triggers. Here is a review for these triggers on youtube from the guy at moxleypixle.com.

They seem to be a bit hit and miss. I'm thinking as a good inbetween, Elinchrom's EL-Skyport Universal is more to my liking. Not as expensive as the PW's but much more reliable than the cheaper ebay triggers.
