    oh, I misinterputed the question. thought he meant three players on the current squad had won medals

    I know tha one you are not sure on, Mike Newell, he played only twice that season but I am pretty certain he got a medal, we only had 15 players that qualified under the PL rules so there were 6 more given out. AFAIK they went to Jeff Kenna, Mike Newell, Bobby Mimms, Kevin Gallacher, Nicky Marker and David Batty who refused his as he felt he did not assist in winning it even though he played a couple of games.
