Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Connection advice

This is a question about the best way to connect various pieces of equipment
    The equipment is as follows:

    TV: LG 22LG3000
    HD/DVD recorder: Sony RDR-HXD560
    Satellite box: Amstrad Sky
    VCR: Panasonic NV-SD440
Wall aerial box: UHF/FM and Sat.

With such a selection of connections (especially on the TV) I would like some advice as to what will work best.
I am trying to include the VCR in the setup because it can do what the HD recorder can’t, which is record one program while I watch another (would it be possible for it to record one programme while the HD recorder records another?)
Thanks in advance for your help

I think this might be better suited in Home Ent. General forum, so I've moved it there.

I'd run a Scart from Sky to TV and from HDD/DVD to TV. Another Scart between Sky and DVD so you can record Sky in highest quality picture.

As for VCR, maybe just run an RF lead from output of VCR to aerial input of TV.

So you'll have coaxial cable from UHF wallplate to VCR to HDD/DVD to TV. That way, you'll be able to record terrestrial channels on either VCR or HDD/DVD (or both).
