    Can anyone recommend a very user-friendly mobile phone for my seventy year old mother? It will only be used for calls.

    any of them phones in xtra vision for 40 or 50 quid are fairly basic and user friendly.

    any old thing you have laying around. something that will last, like an old nokia 5210 put a new battery and a new case on it should be good for years.

    else an iphone.

    actually no scrap that the iphone would be perfect for her.
