    So far the cheapist is dell @40quid a gig

    1-2 gigs would be good

    2x 512mb

    I can check this evening , in the magic drawer .........seems one finds lots in it

    I only have 256MB floating around... and unfortunately €38+ seems to be the going rate for 1GB of 400MHz DDR RAM :o And I'm not sure if the Dimension can actually run PC3200 modules natively without OC or whether it drops them back to PC2700 333MHz.

    I have 2gig of Mushkin Blackline DDR2-800/1000 not sure till I get home. But its super ram left over since my latest upgrade. Would let it go pretty cheap.

    512mb DDR400 1 stick only by the looks of it

    That won't work, if its DDR2.
