Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think I've only got it on car radios in that area and it's quite patchy. The best frequency to try is 99.0, which is Brougher Mountain in south Tyrone.

If this is no good, then you'd need to try satellite or internet radio.

Try 99.4 as well. Athlone may be a too far but may be ok in Longford.

Recently, I've traveled on the N55 towards Athlone with BBC Radio 1 on 99.0 coming in loud and clear. But indoors without an external aerial, no hope really :(

From where is it on 99.4?

No idea and shortly after typing it faded out. Must have been atmospherics.

According to http://frequencyfinder.org.uk/ there's nowhere in NI with Radio 1 on 99.4. Maybe it was from the Isle of Lewis in Scotland but that's some atmospherics!

usally operates on 97 to 99 fm, think most of NI is 99, thats what i tune to any time up there, unless you get luckly enough to get a signal you may have to do what richard says and do with satalite or the internet, even in sligo or donegal it can be patchy

Depends what you mean by a 'normal radio' ...........

I have a normal Radio at home plugged into the NTL FM socket, and I receive BBC Radio 1 on 99.7FM.

im living in sligo and can get bbc radio 1 in the car and on my nokia n73(a bit patchy). but when the local transmitter breaks down i can receive radio 1 crystal clear since theres no interference from today fm. also last night there was a power outage in the city and i could get it quite clear then as well:D
