Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it true that Richer Sounds are not selling the above tv anymore? Perhaps Sony have stopped making them? Where else can one go to get one? Are ALL the 40W4500's equipped with MPEG 4 tuners? What Sony set would replace the above? Many thanks - from a disappointed buyer. Michael r.

Highly unlikely these'll be coming back into stock tbh. Its been out of stock pretty much everywhere for months now and sonys 2009 range has been unveiled. Any more RS get back into stock would just be fulfilling existing customers orders, i would think. I think the reason sony tvs have been in short supply for months now is because they are shutting some factories or something to that effect

The W4500 is being replaced by the W5500. See the specs here. Wont be available for a bit yet. Claimed dynamic contrast of 100000:1 so it should be a nice set by all accounts. Sony have made price rises clear, though so even in the uk, i cant see this set costing any less than 950£ and it'll probably be even more when it is first available
