Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Budapest for C&C

    Hi,

I was in Budapest last week and woke up early one morning and discovered it had snowed heavily the night before. So it was a quick breakfast and off with my camera before work!

I took the usual tourist type shots but I also tried to vary the composition a bit looking for different angles etc..

I processed these in B&W which is rare for me.

    All feedback appreciated!

    Fantastic looking Architecture.

    1 is really nice
2 could do with a straighten but I like the symmetry in it
    3 weakest imo
    4 lovely and straighten too

I had looked for black and white shots in Howth today in a fairly decent sky and it can be quite hard to get it right.

Yeah I see what you mean, no.3 doesn't compare well, I've reworked it and straighted the other two, thanks for the feedback.

Good stuff, there is a lovely symmetry in the arches now. Looks like a beautful place.

Nice shots, I really like #2. The subtility of the huge building in the first shot is great. I'm heading over in a two weeks, hopefully I'll get a few nice one's.

Nice set, #2 for me is the best by a country mile.

#1 and #2 do it for me as well... though I agree that #2 is the best. Nice shots

Thanks for the all the comments and advise.
The building in No.2 was fenced off, looks like they were starting renovation work, so I have to take that shot through the fence, would have liked to have gone in under the arches for different angles, maybe next time!
