Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got a Helios 44-2 recently on ebay, along with an M42->F (nikon mount) adapter. I got it specifically because, wide open, its got the swirrrrrrrls. Not as bad as some other lenses I've seen, I mean these won't give you motion sickness or anything :-)

These are probably also a good example of what that new Ektar 100 can do, I took a little more care developing these than usual so the colours are probably pretty representative. The lens is a bit soft wide open though. If you're a contact you can see a 4096 version of the below. They're down-rezzed from the original 5600 scans.

    And later on ...

... there was no-one in the playground at all.

There are a couple more up on flickr, including a rather contentious robin...

It all fit into the postbox I hope ?

Incidentally, for anyone interested, they're releasing it in 120 as well in April. I'm watching 7dayshop for pre-orders intently ...

    It certainly did!

Separate jiffy bags and no more than 6 rolls at a time, was impressed with that and the swiftness of delivery.

I read about the 120 release as well, but I'll be sticking with 135 for some time!

Too many cameras as it is.

    Stop encouraging me!!

I'm trying to stave off a severe case of Leica lust (not indulged though), hopefully playing with digital shots in lightroom will cure me
