Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's amazing how Carras hand hitting Robbens thigh managed to sweep his legs aswell.

The gap seemed to open up for Yossi there. Thought he might have went himself.

it's amazing when cara realised he was going to be left exposed he "fell" all over robben

    ok

lets think about it for just give it two seconds.

if carra slipped and didn't fall over robben why would robben dive when he would have been in behind with no one to catch him?

you're not very good at this really.

Because thats what divers do, they can't help it.

It was clearly a foul, but Robben clearly could have stayed on his feet and continued.

There were players inside them, he didnt have a clear run at goal at all. Getting Carra a yellow, and the maybe a red later on, is a fairly big bonus.

Lads, it's a minor incident in the context of the match as a whole. No need to get into a petty multi - post exchange over it.

carra put his arm out and and practically wrestled him to the ground

are you watching this game in HDPOOL vision or something?

    are you serious?
maybe you're talking about a different incident, but i thought you were talking about were they were by the sideline and robben wen past and carragher put his hand out and blatantly caught his leg..i'm 100% sure he caught him, unless you're talking about something else then i apologise..
from the replay i thought he defiantley caught him..

mg that was some roll by gago if the ref didnt stop him, he'd probly end up near the touch-line

    .

I shall direct your good self to my above quote from myself further up. Robben pulled his legs up under himslef and flung himself down.

Anyone else think Real got a bit of a boost with Torres gone off?

Babel needs to have make some sort of decent input if he wants to be seriously considered for a striking role

you said his hand hit him?

he put his arm out denying hom from getting around him and leaving the defence very expsosed

it's ok it was the right thing to do at the time you don't need to get so worked up over it

Of course it was a foul,

But he in no way wrestled him to thr ground,

As another said, and as his arm waving and mouthing off suggested after, in my opinion he'd settle for a booking for Carragher rather than stay up, which he could have done and play on.

He has that Diving mentality, always has, and always will.

Would you get out of it. The only thing Carras hand prevented him doing was divign without any contact at all.

    Robben is one dirty cheat

Diarra givign him a run for his money there.

What makes it worse is that I was praising him in the first half for getting up and getting on with it when I felt he was fouled.

Gago is very pale for an Argentinian living in Spain...

    vampire?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Masch has had another great game btw.

And Babel's touch is, yet again, unfathomably poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,310 ✭✭✭✭citytillidie

Ref is falling for Robbens play acting how can you give a free when both players had thier foot at the same height.

right i thought you were saying he didn't touch him at all i picked it up wrong. To be honest not sure if he was diving before he was touched. i was more concentrating on what carragher was doin when watching the replay..

I think we gotta bring on our one man team at this stage and haul Riera off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Liverpool are in a bit of trouble right now. Can't hold on to the ball and Babel is giving us **** all up front. Can't do this for 15 mins straight...

  • Registered Users Posts: 465 ✭✭coco06

very entertaining to watch reina tryin to kick the ball out and not end up on his hole!

we need to do better near their box which has been our problem all year.

try stevie for 10 at least.

for the last ten mins id love to see Riera off, Babel go left, Yossi go right and Gerrard come on to play off Kuyt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Jesus Yossi. He looks at the guy, sees him coming but all he manages to do is not get control of the ball and give away a free.
