    Hi all,

Does anybody know if I already have done a diver medic course is it necessary to do the Diver Emergency Response course also?

    Thanks

Check with your Club DO or training officer, whether the Medic course is valid.

The DER is the same as the diver medic course, with one addon: AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). Check with your DO, but you might just need to do that part.

Having say that, it's good idea to attend the course as a refresher every 2-3 years.

Short answer is yes you do!! However the cost is only €15 if you have diver medic done rather than the full €40.
