Fair play to BBC for showing this but I wish they would get rid of their red button!

Finnan, Grey and McGowan could potentially do well in the masters, all have a decent draw. MCCloskey has a good draw for Lakeside too.

Irish lads not doing to well, only Connie Finnan and Willie O'Connor through so far and Willie has a real tough one next, Robbie Green.

Add Garrett Gray to that now, and he now plays Darryl Gurney, also Mick Egan beat Damien O'Driscoll and now faces Shaun Greatbatch

Martin McCloskey is into the last 32.

McCloskey into last 8. Is it just the winner who quallifys or how many go through today??

Credit where its due, only dropped one set and took two big scalps on the way (Hanvidge and Robson).

Oh I agree with you Andy he is doing great and I would like to see him quallify after getting this far.

Martin Phillips, Brian Woods, John Henderson and Martin McCloskey made it into Lakeside 2010.

Great news that Martin McCloskey has qualified. John Henderson is a player who's had a brilliant year and would be a great bet for Lakeside. He's currently ranked 16th in the BDO rankings and would probably comfortably qualify through the rankings but with the crazy idea of having the play offs before all ranking tournaments are complete he had to enter the play offs! Should be a good Saturday and Sunday on BBC with the Masters.

Just wondering is the winner of Group 7 Adrian Rees the son of Leighton Rees?

Well done to Martin, very tough to win through qualifiers so he must have thrown some great darts.

    Excellent performance from Martin McCloskey.

Hopefully, we will have some more good news from the World Masters !

Hate to quote myself but I should bet on darts for a living.

Grey won his first at the masters 3-0, McGowan won as well, Finnan is either playing or waiting to play, think MCCloskey won as well.

our big 2, Finnan and McCloskey are still there and playing there last 64 matches. Seem to be all thats left in the seniors, Finneran and Meaney in last 16 of the youths.

finnan is through to the stage finals so should feature on tv tomorrow. think its the last 16, top 8 from today and the top 8 seeds.

Jesus that's a bit ridiculous that the top 8 seeds get a bye into the last 16!
