Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

remote operation of Canon 450D

Can anyone tell me if its possible to control a Canon 450D if its connected to a pc? If so are there any lenses that have a motorised zoom that can be used with the 450D?

Yes, PC control of the EOS-450D is possible.

The supplied software with the camera will allow remote shooting but won't allow remote operation of the zoom on a zoom lens.

Some of the Canon Powershot range will allow this type of operation.
