Provincial breakdown of the payments

    Anyone see the article in the journal this week where there is a provincial breakdown of the payments..

    It shows the west was far behind on the payments with almost 50% less avg than the east of the country and pretty large numbers with the other provincies.. Although there are more farmers claiming in the west, can anyone explain how there is such a difference with the payments, are the avg farms 50% smaller in the west..

    They are on average far smaller than 50% the size of the farms in the east- the reason the payments aren't even smaller is the nature of the entitlements they were drawing during the reference periods.
