Anybody here listen to these? Today I got my hands on Pale Folklore after hearing quite a bit about how good they are.

I've got to say, after listening to it 3 or 4 times already, wow, absolutely stunning, beautiful music. I'm annoyed at myself for not getting this earlier.

Already I'm looking into getting some more of their albums, any recommendations?

Would have to recommend Ashes Against the Grain. Terrific album, particularly the epic track Falling Snow.

    :)

Falling Snow isn't on The Mantle, it's on Ashes Against the Grain. The Mantle is their best album by far. Pale Folklore is their worst, but by worst I mean an 8/10 album compared to the 10/10 The Mantle and the 9.5/10 Ashes Against the Grain.

    Pale Folklore is their worst

Hehe, I really hope you're right!

Cheers for the replies lads, so basically I can't go wrong buying any of their albums.

Pale Folklore is a classic album. There is no such thing as a bad Agalloch album.

From my limited knowledge of their stuff I'd definitely recommend it.
