For any helilovers out there this might be of interest:

    North Sea Oil Rigs:

The ones in the North Sea are very sophisticated and include ADFs and occasionally DMEs. More importantly they contain 3 or 4 digit identifiers you can enter into the GPS in order to find them as some are nearly 100 NM out to sea. Here is the list I have found including the Major Airport ID closest.

    North Sea

    Name- Ident- Helibase- NDB- DME
    Gullfaks- GFC- ENBR - 333.00- 113.65
    Troll A- TRL- ENBR- N/A- 116.00
    Osberg A- OBA- ENBR - 353.00-
    Sleipner A- SPA- EGPD- 349.00- 115.50
    ULA- ULA- EGPD- 380.00-
    TOR- TR - EGPD- 375.00-
    Donna- DON- EGPH- 355.00-
    Heidrun- HEI- ENVA- 340.00- 115.05
    Njord- NJD- ENVA- 310.00-
    Snorre- SNR- ENBR- 375.00-
    Stratfjord B- LF6M- ENBR- 615.00-

    Gulf of Mexico

Visual only near Airports 72TA, KMOB or 4RG and finally KNGP

Stolen from a NZ flightsim forum I use: www.nzff.org which has excellent links to nz scenery and a/c both pay and freeware.
