Skateboarding South Dublin

My 14 year old daughter is keen to try skateboarding. Plenty of places to buy boars, but where in south Dublin is a good place to learn? Or is there a speciality shop somewhere where we could get advice?:confused:

There's a skate park beside the Blue Pool off Monkstown Avenue. I think there's another in Bray, but I haven't been.

Greystones has a skate park, just off the N11 behind Jackie Skellys Gym
