Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

does anyone know what the normal benefits are with their car insurance??

Their car insurance webpage kindly point out things you should know about your own insurance but I can't find any information to indicate if those things come with britton insurance!

They are merely brokers (good ones iirc).

The benefits will depend on the insurer.

ah! That makes sense. Would be handy if they told you the benefits when you got a quote online though!

Just got a quote for an 08 1.6 TDCi focus. Full comp + Full Protection + Breakdown + Windows etc. at 316 compared to an AA renewal of 776!!! Well guess who lost some business, didn't even bother to ask AA to compete.

Underwriter is Prestige. Next best quote was an additional 70
Strangely, rang them up after the online quote and it was even cheaper... but I wasn't complaining

Have you tried doing a quote on their website?

Nobody can tell you right off the bat but I presume its your first insurance so you will probably be looking at between 2 and 3 thousand quid minimum and that would be for third party fire and theft.

Please don't drag up old threads, this one is from 2009...

Ring them up tomorrow and find out.

Start a new thread if you wish.
