Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey there,

    I have NTL Broadband

For the last two weeks everytime i open internet explorer it automaticly defaults to an Offline Setting.

When i go into Tools and unclick Work Offline, then hit refresh it just automaticaly goes back to a Work Offline setting.

I phoned NTL and they can't understand the problem either, everything is connected up correctly, the box has all the right lights on and the Area Connection icon in the bottom of the screen is showing a Connected status.

Anybody got any ideas for me to try when i get home?

i apologise if this is in the wrong forum

I'm not sure, what setting should i have and i can check it later.

I tried each of the options under Tools>Internet Options>Connections

I tried deleting my browsing history

    I tried reseting EI

    I tried Mozilla Firefox

I checked another setting i was recommended in Start>Run>regedit and they were as they should be

    Utterly demoralised

Have you a dialup or 3G modem as default?

Go to Settings | Network and disable connections you are not using.
