    Hey

Am throwing a pancake shindig tonight but i can't find a decent pancake recipe with eggs in it -

I have a batter recipe already which works really well...but it's not as nice as the one with eggs in it and I love American Style pancakes!

Any suggestions?? I'm running out of time to organise myself! Oh dear...:-)

I use the same recipe but add a spoonfull of sugar and pinch of salt and use selfraising flour and the pancakes can be made smaller and fluffier.

    Hi

Did you leave your batter to stand for a while?

This is great for American-style pancakes:

    1 egg
    1 cup Buttermilk
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    ½ teaspoon baking soda
    ½ teaspoon salt

    Method:
    Beat egg
Add the rest of the ingredients in the order listed.
    Mix well
Pour batter onto heated gridle/pan. When top begins to bubble, flip over until done.

Nah. The kids are too impatient:rolleyes: i just throw about eight or nine little ones on a large frying pan and they're ready within minutes! We use our hands to eat them too just dip them into sour cream or syrup or jam. MMmmm. I think I'll go make some now.
