Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Not surprised really. Went into a few around the 'States, and they were all the same, high rent mall locations, looked flashy but mostly things like frames, bags and accessories, and very little in the way of SLRs or lenses. Lots of P&S, and kids behind the counter with very little knowledge.

    Aaahhh but we used to have a guy from Pixels post here and he was replying to criticism that they hadn't much SLRs in stock and mostly these P&S and he said unfortunately thats what far outsells the SLRs and he was right obviously....
    The reason why they have the kids is obviously down to the wages....
    It's always a fine line to balance it correctly I agree.

    Which is why all the camera manufacturers make so many P&S cameras.

    It's also why Panasonic and Olympus think Micro 4/3's could be a roaring success. Most people don't want a big bulky camera.
