Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not excited really, looking forward to working down there again, I had savage craic in that place, the people there are ace. Will be nice to be home too, excited would be the wrong word though :) Happy out just about covers it. Still, will miss my Galway work buddies and housemates. I enjoyed my year up here, apart from the Sunday drive back here.
its always hard moving... i always find that just when ive made friends and settled in i'm uprooted! but sure its home to you so it shouldnt be too bad apart from withdrawals from galway! and fair play for getting the shave...for charity?

Nope, just like it. Used to have a "normal" haircut, then about a year or so ago started getting it shaved fairly tight, then tighter, after a while it seemed to get very untidy quickly so over Christmas I shaved it all off :D After a day or two there seems to be loads of it there again.

Was in Berlin last year for a weekend, was ok, wouldn't rush back there though. The bombed church is worth a look. The Germans are a quite enough crowd though.

They weren't quiet in Dusseldorf when I was there one night....my god streets were crazy with drinking!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,088 ✭✭✭NoDice

Yeah I've heard so much talk about Germany lately! Really interested in going.

Did the Canaries, London, & Egypt three years ago. Florida, Edinburgh & the Canaries again last year. And this year going to Tenerife (again.. :o), Hungary and maybe Spain or Malta at the end of the year.

Can't wait!! Really want to do a trip to Amsterdam and Berlin but they might have to wait till next year!

Is it cheap for eating out (in restaurants...) and drinks in Berlin?? I'm not a beer drinker..

Ha ha, King tut, did a fair bit of stalking actually yesterday cause I got bored! Everyone from here is on that "know your loungers" forum! :D

Awh! I only asked because there is alot going on at the moment for charity regarding shaves (Shave or Dye for example..). Sorry hun, didn't mean to insult you. :(

Right. Over the head again!

On the topic of hair, I've decided to dye my hair super blood red once I'm back from Tenerife. Now that's not until April, but I'm bored of waiting for my hair to grow and want to do something a bit nutty I think...

Boring dark brown, I haven't dyed it in about 3 years now I'd say! :D

Thinking the crazy red might be nice with a tan?? Opinions??

    We'd need pics tbh.

Actually I see your point here. When I think of it, it's a great idea and imagine it'll be like this..

    Girl_with_red_hair_by_igolochka.jpg

But realistically, looking through google images its far too tacky looking (IMO some people pull it off really well so no offence to anyone with dyed red hair.)

That Vanandisa lady pulls it off fairly well. Worth a try, would need a tan though, wouldn't suit polo mint complexion. Now I am not condoning tans at all, I am a real factor 90000000 type of person.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,088 ✭✭✭NoDice

Ha ha yeah but she's a cartoon.. I'd tan well enough on hols, wouldn't touch fake tan or beds etc. Just want something different for the summer..

Or Hayley Williams type hair like -

beautiful-hayley-williams--large-msg-120293945921.jpg Ooh boo boo so cute!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

Nope, not tacky at all, not on Hayley anyway.
Not all chaps with shaved heads look scumy sure :)

Never too late, I was struggling to jog a mile this time last year, was able to jog 6 / 7 miles in an hour in September. Will get back to that level in a month or so all going well. I am a non exercise type person but felt it had to be done as I was getting into the late 20s :)
