Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can't actually even use facebook properly. I can only really access it at home. Funnily enough I have broadband but don't have a computer...

It's gone sh*t anyways. Lost interest in it since they've changed it. Ah shame, if it was the other way around I'd let you have my o2 broadband as I don't use it...it's only 8 euro a month anyways! :p

That's a really good deal, I think I'm paying €20 as part of a package with Chorus.

Yeah I was using it to talk to friends and family outside of Cork who I wouldn't usually text you know? But then people started adding me as friends even though they wouldn't stop for a chat on the street.. Then I was getting requests for mafia things and farming or something so just didn't bother with it.

Also jumped on the twitter bandwagon.. Then realised that was pretty **** too if you follow the wrong people..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

Yeah, it's annoying alright with all the requests etc. I've lost interest in all social networking except boards.ie and our meet ups. Much better.

I'm having an awfully unproductive day, losing motivation etc.... what a waste of a day!

CIT has it's +s, less knob ends by far than UCC, back when I was there that alone made up for the relatively poor facilities. Now as the facilities are improved it must be a wonderful spot :D

yea but in UCC you just get to prance around and drink caramelollaloos for the 12 hours a week you show up and tell everyone how great your new iPad is before it's non-removable battery dies and you add it to your collection of paperweights

    was messing btw :)

You've to get up earlier! Are you not getting in trouble for going to work late or are they being nicely lenient because you're leaving soon? :)

Get some lovely deep heat for your knee! Love that stuff!

    Yes Mum
No, no trouble, I clock in when I come in, I'm a contractor so paid by the hour so I only invoice for the hours I so. It's just so hard to get up in the mornings, nice and cosy under the duvet :) In saying that I should be here at 8 in the morning, maybe tomorrow :)

I had a long talk with someone in here about things and it cleared things up. Happy now :)

Also turned down a job, I'd regret leaving I think :)

    All is good =)

No, RICE is the thing - Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. Don't bother with Deep Heat, you'd get better results if you smeared the injured knee with butter, swam the channel and murdered a monk...

I know what you mean. I EVENTUALLy get up in the morning, with a grudge of course but wake up quick enough once in work. But when the weather is as miserable as it was this morning, I just want to sink back under the duvet.. :(

Yeah I got a bit stuck on someone here yesterday (see my thread about what to wear to a Christening). I flew off the handle! Usually I'm well up for a laugh but I didn't see the funny side of it at all. However apologised and all is fine now. :)

Was that the interview you went for? You turned it down??

Sorry doctor!! I have no idea. I should have included that I had no idea and really just like deep heat. Murdered a monk.. ha ha!! :D
