Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well done!

    Whats the topic?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 563 ✭✭✭save_our_socks

Think people are sick of my topics at this stage but since you asked....I have to write about the concept of quality provision in early childhood care and education...so basically looking at the history of other european countries since the late 1800's, two stupid ideologies that have my head wrecked (if anyone can differenciate between constructionism and constructivisim, plus how they relate to postmodern and modern ideals, you would be my god!) and have to throw in some Reggio Emilia as well, just for good measure.

But Im nearly done, final essay, final year, it will be a bit emotional!

Tut, everyone knows you just sit the child in front of the TV and feed it Mars Bars and Coke all day

Ha, sounds like you're talking about international relations with all those isms. Way too many isms in college for my liking. You nearly finished? I hated finishing writing up an essay when it was really late and then have to tuck into he bibliography.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 563 ✭✭✭save_our_socks

Lucky for me I do my bibliography as I go along so I jsut need to copy and paste it into my essay document and Im done!

Goodbye 3rd year assignments *wave* Roll on the Post grad!

You seem way too organised for a college student. I didn't kop on to doing that until I wrote the dissertation for my masters. Shame it was the last thing I ever wrote for college, all the trouble I could have saved myself!

    Well done btw!

Thanks RJ. I was so upset tbh this morning for all these silly reasons so wasn't very confident going in and forgot everything I had prepared! But I learned alot in there strangely enough! Had a really good chat with them!

Thanks for the finger crossing! :)

How are you keeping? I haven't been on here properly in ages, so stressed.. :(

Me happy out thanks, more or less settled in to the new (old) place. 'tis great being home again, Sundays are much improved without the spin to Galway :D

Bit added...... got the echo on the way home, lit the fire and have a nice evening ahead watching the match with Dad and the dog (sister won't be collecting the Fi till later). Ah yes, happy out.

    Sounds cool!
You'll be fine, Im not the biggest fan of needles either, but i took an injection in the eye today and was 100% painless, just uncomfortable.

    Mind over matter man!

Have had to get at least eight injections in the last few weeks over a troublesome tooth and yet every time i see one i cringe like a little girl :pac:

But i am determined to get that tattoo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,547 ✭✭✭Purple Lemons

    Awh haha

    What about that tingle cream?

Never tried it myself but apparently it numbs the area before tattooing?

    OR

Get the doctor to give you one of those numbing injections where your gonna get the tattoo ;)
