Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm thinking of going to the cinema here in Germany. Does anyone know if they show the movies in English unlike what they do to them on TV?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,744 ✭✭✭deRanged

they're saying that they're going to reusume limited flights tomorrow though, so things are looking up a bit!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

    Thanks everyone.

Yeah it lightened off a bit alright today but got a bit intense again this evening so it's impossible to say. I've hotel for another few nights anyways!

I need to start watching stuff to pass time away. You never guess what I watched just there, Thai Brides by Louis Theroux. I laughed so many times through it. Scary how quick some get married!

    Louis Theroux is excellent

id say being away like that would get boring pretty quickly? Have you got any plan B? I know a guy getting euro star from france to UK tomorrow and then swift ferry back to Cork...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,744 ✭✭✭deRanged

I was about to ask if webmonkey had started thinking about getting a train and ferry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

I might look into that alright. I haven't thought of plan B yet. I'm holding on until Thursday to see before I make drastic moves. I not sure if I have the money either yet. I've taken out nearly grand in ATM here but it takes while before you see it go off your online banking account so I don't know what state I'm in yet!

Yeah it gets boring :p Could be worse I guess

I looked into it. Irish ferries next one is Towards end of week but to get train from here to France costs 200 euro :( - not to mention getting to Cherberg or whatever the name place is.

Eh just a quick question. Would anybody actually be able to collect your car from the airport. The carparks in the airports changed hands a few years ago and arent that understanding anymore.

looks like the overland route is too expensive then.
and the car is in the long term park right? so no bother, it'll just cost you.
