Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have always been told that cutting down is pointless, it just means you get the withdrawal, without the benifits of not smoking.

Best of luck dude, I know it's not that easy but it can be done! I tried the whole cutting. Down thing before but found if I was only having two or three I was inhaling them to point of almost eating them :P the whole smoking when drinking not a good idea either! It's working for me right now but wouldn't recommend it

Yeah I've cut down to two/three a day instead of like a full box a day so going well. I don't get withdrawal symptoms unless I've had a wine or something so when I'm drinking it's worse. But I enjoy the odd smoke with a cup of tea after work and anotehr before bed. No longer need one in work which is nice. :)

whats the best way to get there from the quays?

Out the lower glanmire road towards the M8. Turn left, then right to go up the hill by the Silver Springs Hotel (2nd left after leaving the quays) then head away up the hill. Just past the crest of the hill, turn right at the traffic lights and it's on your rhs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,114 ✭✭✭corkcomp

also check out lee auto center on model farm rd. always cheapest in cork for diesel and have good name for cheap petrol too

No - think it's the 4th but wouldn't swear to it. It's a long climb up that hill. Once you're past the top of the hill, there's a set of traffic lights with a left turn, then a set with a right turn - you can't miss it really. Can probably see the Amber station before you make the turn too.
