Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Careful now, you'll have the Lords of the Internet after you.

The Cork City forum is clearly no place to be mentioning one of the most talked about stories to hit Cork City in years.

Everyone in Cork is talking about it, it's been on Matt Cooper, The Irish Examiner, TV3...

    Lighten up ffs.

    Only here.

Did anyone see the film called chronoscope on RTE 2 last Monday? It was about a woman scientist who lived in Dublin in the 1930's who invented a machine called a chronoscope that could look into the past.I am not sure was it a wind up or not because I searched her name on google but couldn't find anything.I think her name was Charlotte Keppler.

I recommend you take me with you. ;) As for films I'd go for Let Me In or Burke & Hare.

I haven't seen either of them but they sound good and if Let Me In is as good as the Swedish film (Let The Right One In) it's based on then it would be well worth a look.

Actually, I compressed it to 57.7k if you'd bothered to check before posting your mis-informed comment..

    Welcome to the internet

Have a clue what you're talking about before you criticise people next time.

She might have meant dimensions rather than file size in which case compression wouldn't have done a thing.

In fairness though, 864px × 576px isn't a particularly big image, I often post pics on here that are up to 1200px wide. Maybe Zachary Lively Restaurant just needs to get a bigger monitor? ;)
