Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I hate moving house. It makes me think about why I have so many shoes. And I hate all the changing of address, switching of bills...I reckon it would be a good idea for a start up company. They come in, do all that for ya and move your shoes too! :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,129 ✭✭✭LenaClaire

That would be nice. Moving is miserable. I always end up losing things.

Anybody know if there's anywhere in the city that sells Savanna Cider? I did a quick google search but came up empty :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,389 ✭✭✭FTGFOP

Bradley's on North Main St. has a good range, don't know about that specific cider though.

Is it nice, btw? Made with Granny smith apples?

Another place to try is Abbot's on Devonshire St.

    Give them a bell:
    021 4507116 (Abbot's)
021 4270845 (Bradley's Nth Mn St.) (first suggestion)

One more day 'til Friday! And then, next week is St. Patrick's Day! And then I have vacation! And it is sunny outside!

    Lot of happiness :D

That was cool. It must be nice to be able to paint. I could use a creative outlet, maybe a guitar to noodle on out the back porch as the evenings get longer.

    Maybe learn to play this:

You have the best excuse to eat them as you're eating for two. Either that or save them for breakfast. nyom.

Not bad! Well feeling a bit weird. Saw a strange movie - "The Fountain" - you know one of those odd movies that when ends, you don't know what to think... Bit of a daze!

    How are you?

See my location, brah. My legs are cold too. In better form lately though. Felt like it was raining for months till recently.

Was The Fountain any good? I felt like that after Inception.

Oh snow there I hear! Nothing here in Dublin yet.

Inception was amazing. Nice feeling after, this feeling after this movie, is , hard describe. Like the last 2 hours of my life were a black hole.

    Oh well!

Another great movie, but totally odd is Mr. Nobody. It's quite long though but unreal.

I liked The Fountain, visually it's great to look at. Only saw it the once so can't remember too much about it. Watch Requiem for a Dream and you'll feel like more than the last 2 hours of your life is a black hole. Really good film but so depressing.

It's directed by the same guy who did The Fountain.

Ah I've seen Requiem for a Dream several times. That was fantastic. I still have the sound track in my car and still listen to it at least once a week. It sounds depressing but it's good! Never knew same guys that produced it.

Yeah I know what you mean. I don't think I ever saw it more than once in space of 12 months. Always big gaps. I think that movie should be shown to teenagers. Keep them off the serious drugs ha

No, wanted too as I reckon Jeff Bridges would have been great in it. Haven't been to the cinema in ages.

Yep, he did Black Swan & The Wrestler is one of his as well. I've seen 4 of his films and thought they were all good. Haven't got round to Black Swan yet.

I'd say not as it is only on once a day and no listing after Tuesday. Been meaning to see Paul. Love Simon Pegg films, must go before that disappears.
