Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

evening kingtut - from the little I saw of Belgium (leuven really) during the week it's not a bad old place. at least not for a short trip. I didn't sample any of the local hospitality but the gang I was with did, and spoke highly of the beers :)

in other news - I see there's a fish pedicure place opening tomorrow on Washington street. who's heading off to have their feet nibbled by fishies?

It's not the healthiest idea. The little fishies eating all the crap off your toes are the exact same little fish that were eating the crap off the person who was just in before you and had some fungal infection.

It's a bit tricky to sanitize living fish.

I'm considering trying it, and video-ing it for my blog. the owners said it's cool if I do. so I'm debating it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,088 ✭✭✭NoDice

I'd love to see that! can you post or even pm me a link to your blog?

One of the girls here in work got it done I found out. She said it just felt weird. Strangley tickling too. But she also said it's the best thing she's ever done to get rid of dead skin. However someone else got it done to remove fungus from their infected toes...... *puke* It's oviously the same little guys used over and over again right?

Little tube of stuff for athlete's foot would be better for that, poor little fishes having a munch off some one's foot fungus :(

Yeah I didn't play the first one but my BF said it's brilliant. I still have a few games to go through but I'll let you know how it is when I play it!

Yeah i couldn't believe how good the English market was. I got four or five bags filled with meats and veg and only spent about 40 quid!! Can't wait now for Sunday. having my family over to test out the new barbie. :)

I think I heard someone say it was a euro aminute or something.

I'm in the Ballinlough area and the water was like that last night and then again this morning. Seems to be a bit better now. Thank God it's not only us!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,744 ✭✭✭deRanged

the fish pedicure was €15 for 15 minutes, though they're very generous with the times - they don't rush you or anything.

we got in as they opened so there wasn't a queue. they're very friendly in there so if you want to get a look at it before you try it there's no problem.

it's good fun, and the fish definitely clean your feet. it's also very soothing.
