Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

right into the middle of Cork City. we don't even have a balcony :)

Tom Jones rocked! Turns out the tickets we had were for the 5th row - was almost like being on stage. I didn't expect him to be so good TBH, I'm more of a metalhead, but easily one of the best gigs I've been to in ages.

Completely seated gig though, and the security were asshats trying to make everyone who wanted to dance sit back down.

Myself and my buddies thought we were the only ones in Ireland who love and loathe this film in equal amounts! Oh Hai Fellow Boardsies! You should tell me everything! Love is blind!

Cork needs a Room screening - I can provide a projecter. Now we just need a location (warehouse?), speakers, spoons and Tommy Wiseau or Philip Haldiman (aka Denny).

Check out the trailer, if you want to laugh so hard you might expire, you should watch this "black comedy" (what the director called it after it flopped as a drama, he spent six million dollars on making it). This is one of the newest cult classics of our time - a masterpiece, albeit a terrible one.

Its actually fantastic. You need to be a little drunk to take this movie, which we have done twice now and intend to do so again this weekend!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,744 ✭✭✭deRanged

I think you'd need to be very very drunk for that film.

I'm really looking forward to watching that. I'm going to look for a torrent now.

After watching that trailer I'm so excited.... jaysus

It's not just 30-somethings themselves that start moving the goalposts once they hit 30. According to insurance brokers : "32 is the new 30". No doubt once we get to 32.....

tLL should have plenty. and they're all so liberated they'll jump at the chance. you might pick up a few stragglers in A&A too who'll join in just to have a dig at the church
