    we arrived in this morning, spent the day driving around and checking out the prices. tomorrow we fill the car, and we're sailing out of Roscoff at about 9 tomorrow. back into Cork Saturday morning.

    ah I don't get through that much. these days with coming over so much I don't buy that much, there's no need to!

    I'm going to try a new system tomorrow - keep all the bottles below about 7 euro and see how I get on.
    I've built up a collection of expensive bottles that aren't ready for drinking and I'm trying to get away from that.

    I think I might get some beer too - 5 litre kegs seem like a nice idea.

    even one pint seems like a nice idea to me now.. think i'll get some on way home.. only leaving work now for second time:mad::(

    Ah great, def go for pint with ya some evening!

    I'm going to be based beside Connoly station so I can get train in from a town outside so I'm sorted. I'll bring car up but park it up for week and use it if I need it some evening but for general work it will be train all the way!

    that's the business. you can hit the pub after work so. I miss that about Dublin - you could always meet someone for one or two after work there. it jsut doesn't seem to work like that in Cork.

    No :( - I guess a lot of people drive too in Cork. Ah I'll miss Cork a lot though. It's just such a nice city get from one end to another quickly.

    I'll be down every few weekends though so I'll def make some of the meet ups!

    Me too, except I didn't feel I should ;) Watched the Man Utd v Liverpool game and the 2nd half of Atl Madrid V Barcelona (missed the first half). Have sfa interest in gaelic football, hurling moreso but still not hugely interested.

    Just heard off the taxi driver on the way home that some guy got stabbed outside porters on pana tonight....what a crappy ending for what was a great day for cork. Hope the thugs get caught!!!

    I have my son Fridays, that's why I have to go home weekends =)
