Help, water on mobile phone screen!

Hi, water got splashed on the screen of my C905 this morning, just a couple of drops, which I tried to wipe off as quick as I could. However, there is now a 'shadow' on my screen where about 75% of it is slightly dimmer than the rest. Will this dry out naturally or have I messed up my phone?

Wrap it up and put it somewhere warm for a couple of days so it can dry out. Hopefully the water won't mess up the phone itself, unfortunately its fingers crossed whether you get you're screen back to its former self.
