Fantasy Pets - If you could have any animal as a pet...

...what would it be?

If the universe turned upsidedown and it was suddenly possible to have any kind of animal at all as a pet (ie the animal wouldn't suffer or eat you) what would your dream pet be?

Me - I'd love a lion!

I think my cats might like a cool African cousin to hang out with.

AND - a family of otters living in a pond in my garden.

And the lion and the otters could play together on a bed of daisies....:P

I'd love a load of merecats running around my garden.

I would also love a few elephants. I'd just stand there feeding them nice leaves all day!:D

two miniature elephants, they would be approx the size of a small dog and I would have an awesome garden and pond for them to live in.

A polar bear.

They look so cute and fluffy.

Ok, I know they'd be able to break every bone in my head with one swipe of a paw but they look amazing.

A unicorn or a dodo would be nice. I already have two dogs, three mice, a rat, four chickens and a hedgehog so I'm probably good for stuff right now...

a pygamy(sp) elephant. That be some laugh.

I just wouldn't be able to give up my golden retriever, I wouldn't even sell him for a million quid!

Although if I could add pets, I'd probably get a monkey and maybe some of those meerkat things as well (just to dress em up in tiny little waiter uniforms and have them bring me drinks

)

A dolphin like Flipper, who would live in the sea but would come to visit me (because I would live in a villa beside the sea on a tropical island) to go swimming.
