Hi - I am about to start plumbing my new build - 2 storey concrete build with byson slabs about 2700 sq ft & garage

got a quote off our plumber for the below but think that it is on the very high side!

underflooring heating - upstairs and downstairs
completely zoned with thermostats in all rooms
    120000 he condensing oil boiler
    300 gallon beehive oil tank
    300 litre solar cylinder
    rad in garage
    water softner -supply & fitted
    installation of 2 towel rails
preinsulatted pipe from garage to house
3 bar grunfos booster pump to pressurize all taps
all normal plumbing you would expect
Price to include all labour and vat.

would anyone have a rough idea as to what would be a reasonable price this job?
    Thanks

Our local plumber priced my sisters new house supply and install of UFH incl. Geotherma and heat pump, 7 rads upstairs, 1st & 2nd fix with my sister supplying the sanitary fittings all for €14,500. I thought that was extremely cheap

    Hey Quazzie,

that sounds very reasonable to me as well...!!
I am gtting quotes from Plumbers at present and they are well above that average for UFH downstairs, rads up and pressurized water system....
If she knows and trusts his work, then good luck to her for getting out at that price...:D

I recently got a quote of €7k for UFH fiitted upstairs and downstairs, obviously there is lots more plumbing needed after that but I thought it to
be quite reasonable, waiting for 4 more prices to come in.
