I absolutely love them...i have been a big fan since they released their first album in 2003. I really think they are gonna be one of them bands that people remember as being great.
Yes they have sold out a bit, and have become over commercialised, but Caleb Followill has an amazing voice, and i love their laid back style and brilliant music.

Whats everyones views on this band?
    Like them?
    Hate them?
    [Couldn't care less?

I've always liked their stuff, all the albums are pretty good I think, really like the production of the last two and their are some great songs on them. Fair enough they might have "sold out" a little, but they're making money from writing decent songs and putting on good shows,(in contrast look at snow patrol who have "sold out" as such and are churning out s**te) so fair play to them.
The only thing is I find some songs are being played to death.

Love all there stuff. Actually like there new album the best strangely(im not one of those band waggon people though i assusre you, been listening to em since there second album).

The songs are different sure, but id rather them reinvent themselves than to stay stagnant, as long as its all in the same vein as the stuff they brought out before of course.

Their newest song came on the radio today just before the Carling Cup penalty shoot-out. I felt like throwing the radio through the window. 'Nuff said.

Iv always thought that they've been class musically, seen them four times now, but i couldnt get over when I seen a interview of caleb and the drummer a few months back on channel 4 how big-headed they were. It was a huge turn off as they always seemed quite humble. Obviously they have the right to be because they are so talented but never thought they would be.
