Living near Ongar - had about six power cuts between 4 and 6 a.m. Only noticed because it kept setting off a neighbour's house alarm. Any idea wtf was going on?

Noticed the same over near Allendale, plenty of house alarms going off til around 6:30-ish.

Maybe Bord Gáis were switching over the first few customers to their electricity and someone pressed the wrong button! :D

Rung the ESB at 4am (!) they said that the whole of Blanch was off because of a tripped circuit breaker.
