    My location though a bit on the hilly side can under certain conditions act as a sun trap (ie southfacing etc) and today is one such day :p

    Valentia often does well in a SE flow.
    Fohn conditions giving 17C
    Memories of 2005!

    This same SE giving it cooler along east coast
    10C at Dublin AP, but 15C at Casement.

    21c ...you sure of that one ?

    Was wondering if that fohn effect was working for me today MM , wind coming straight from that hill (Crusline 355 mts /1166ft) just visible between the trees , 18.4 c rather impressive for here in mid march , still 16.9 atm 4.15pm.

    Meanwhile I could scrape an air frost tonight. 1.3C and calm
    If any sort of breeze picks temp will rise quickly.

    Lovely day,approx 11 degrees in carlow. Sunny South East and all that jazz. Good day for american football and a can of fosters. I recommend leaving your jumpers at home. If you have a pair of trendy shorts wear them...flip flops optional. Have a good day everyone

    The sunny SW for a change , leaving work at 6am had to scrape ice off the van , but today another stunner , local conditions no doubt but atm

    Check satellite loop today to see fog in south

    7-8C in Cork, yet Valentia 19C and belmullet 18C

    Sunny 14C here

    Yea just noticed some of the temps being recorded around parts of the country today. 19c :O. 16c being recorded here but doesn't exactly feel that warm, probably due to a light breeze here atm.

    Fog event here! Fog must be very deep as I don't usually get fog here due to height above surrounding areas.

    3.6c atm but went to 1.0c overnight.

    Fog has cleared (although still very hazy) and sun is shining for the first time today. It was beautiful in town yesterday but it would be great if the wind changed direction so the east could get some of the high temps experienced in the west over the last few days.
