Where to go for Easter holidays, travelling alone?

I really want to go somewhere during the Easter holidays but none of my friends are free so it looks like I'll be travelling alone:(. Ideally I'd like to go somewhere warm and sunny. But it would also have to be somewhere fun where I would meet other people.

At the moment I'm looking at backpacking from France to Malta as I love visiting France, but not sure as I wouldn't get much sun there. Another option I was looking at is a week in Tenerife just for the sun and relaxation but am worried that it'll be all young families there.

So can anyone recommend somewhere? Thanks guys.

Hey Lola - am pretty much in the same boat - just want a break away from the cold rain for a few days to recharge the batteries - but not many people up for it, but the regular holiday places don't seem to cater for people heading off on their own, in terms of prices anyway...so would be interested if there is anyone out there with any ideas...
