Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For some reason the battery icon which is supposed to be in the notification area is not there anymore,it wont show up even though it has been ticked in the power options to stay in the notification area and it is also labeled as "always show" in taskbar properties.

Does anyone know how to get it back?

Did you set it to show for all power options. Plugged in/Desktop etc?

Control Panel | power options | Advanced | Always show icon in the task bar.

    Have fun.

Did you read the OP's post? It appears he's already done that.

I had (or rather still have) the same problem on an old Dell laptop, and no amount of fiddling with the standard settings would make it stick. I could get it to appear once, but after a reboot it'd be gone again. I never did get to the bottom of it.
