Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone have any feedback on these tractors.... I would be using it to pull a 8 tonne digger.. has it sufficient Horse Power?

75 hp is not enough for pulling an 8 tonne digger. Is it 4wd or 2wd?

You would want at least 90hp for pulling an 8 tonne digger.

I was hoping the 75 HP would suffice as I would only be moving the machine about once every 2 months :confused:

I have located a 5635 at a good price whereas a 6635 would cost me about 4-5K more

i have a ford nh 5635 4wd it will be well able to pull your 8 ton digger as i pull a grain trailer carring 9-10 ton and trailer loads of baled silage 10 -14 bales no bother just take your time

Anything will pull 8 tonnes once the trailer is braked. You won't be able to go very fast though!

I have often pulled 16 bales of silage with a ford 4000. It ain't pretty, but it does the job when needed.

It will pull it no bother there a fair gutsy wee tractor them, as maidhc said about the 4000 i used t pull an ex60 with wide pads and a set of buckets which would be near 8 ton with a 4000 and a 4610 not pretty but it done the trick, i had the brakes hooked to a spool valve again not ideal but functional. ;)
