    Ned78 - yeah your probably right - but in my many years here I've seen items brought back to be repaired in such poor states that it nearly brings a tear to my eye...really makes me wonder what folk get up to...

    Hi Ash

    I was putting the SLA5520 in its box for postage today and it dawned on me that An Post will have gotten €24 in total for the benefit of posting these units back and forth. Thats almost as much as the original unit cost.

    So I'll hang onto mine. The exchange really is a great deal for those who can drop into The Philips Shop. But thats what I get for moving to the sticks ;).

    Ritz - I'm happy to keep one aside for you.

    Zep - I guess I'll see a few more over the next few days if you'd like one I can put you on my reserve list.

    Podge3 - no worries, I'll remove you from my tobe exchanged list. The SLA5520 IS a pretty cool gadget anyway - if my pc was wireless enabled I'd scoop one for myself - not a great radio listener myself so don't need that feature.

    Quenching - No worries your on my to be exchanged list as it stands - guess you'll make The Ritz happy when yours comes back!

    and finally..

    Johnmc - what can I say? I've got to get out and play sometimes! Did get rained on though:(

    I'm on your list too but I'm a bit like Podge in that I'd begrudge An Post the cost of postage 3 times. I'll be in Dublin on Tue pm so I'll try and get to you before you close (6pm?), so I can exchange in person. Failing that I'll get it in the post to you.
